AI4CZC model testing scenarios
We present here three scenarios of 24h that we used to test the AI4CZC model. These scenarios include an usual day scenario, a scenario where the Montenegro thermal plant is down, and a scenario were the cable between Montenegro and Italy is down.
AI4CZC project objective is to use AI based models to improve the net position forecast 48h in advance, a key factor on the forecasting of Cross Zonal Capacity.
That's why during the project we built AI4CZC platform and trained a model to forecast Montenegro Net Position.
To test this model on many scenarios, we created three scenarios, of 24 hours, to test the performances of the model :
- Scenario 1 - MONITA cable down : The cable between Montenegro and Italy is out of service.
- Scenario 2 - Montenegro thermal power plant down : The Montenegro thermal power plant is down.
- Scenario 3 - Regular state of the network : The network works as usual, without major outages.
These models can be directly tested with Montenegro Net Position model.
