FlexDR, an AI-based web application for Flexibility Forecasting and Demand Response
FlexDR provides an AI-based web application, named FlexDR, powered by a clustering model which identifies the load profiles within a Virtual Power Plant (VPP) of 54 smart meters, enabling operators to suggest actions to users in the side of smart meters based on their forecasted load and the predicted load profile in order to increase flexibility of the network. FlexDR comprises three main functionalities: a) Short-term load and generation forecasting to predict the day-ahead user behaviour b) Electrical time series clustering to perform prosumers profiling based on the provided forecasts c) A smart and flexible recommendation engine that suggests appropriate demand response actions to prosumers, based on the cluster they belong to.
