International Conference on Smart Computing (SMARTCOMP) is the premier conference on smart computing. Smart computing is a multidisciplinary domain based on the synergistic influence of advances in sensor-based technologies, Internet of Things, cyber-physical systems, edge computing, big data analytics, machine learning, cognitive computing, and artificial intelligence.

Applications of smart computing can be found in different societal domains including, but not limited to, transportation, energy, environmental protection, smart and connected communities, healthcare, banking, industrial systems, entertainment, and social media. Algorithmic and system advancements of cloud computing, mobile/pervasive computing, cyber-physical systems, sensor networking and social computing are taking smart computing to a new dimension and improving our ways of living.

SMARTCOMP 2025 is the 11th edition of the conference and will be held at University College Cork and Munster Technological University, Cork, Ireland.

SmartAIDa Workshop

As part of the conference, the 1st International Workshop on Smart AI Models & Data Sharing and Monetisation (SmartAIDa) (link) is being organised as a collaboration between the AI4Europe and DATAMITE projects, aiming to foster discussions on the future of AI model & dataset sharing, monetisation, and governance.

Call for Papers

We invite high-quality submissions addressing the challenges and innovations in sharing and monetising AI models and datasets. Accepted papers will be included in the SMARTCOMP 2025 proceedings and published in the IEEE Digital Library, allowing authors to upload the camera-ready versions to open-access platforms.

Submission Deadline: 30th March 2025

Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):

• AI model and dataset sharing frameworks and tools
• Data monetisation strategies and valuation models
• Trust, accountability, and ethical challenges in data-sharing ecosystems
• Blockchain, edge computing, and IoT for secure AI sharing

• Legal frameworks and interdisciplinary approaches
