AI4Media workshop "Artificial Intelligence Fit for the Media Sector: A Practitioners Perspective" 9 october 2023 Online via zoon

What do practitioners in the media sector expect from AI tools? How can organisations integrate AI and ML techniques into their existing workflows? What challenges do they encounter and what kind of solutions are they still currently missing? For the last two years, AI4Media project has been diving into these questions at the intersection between research and practice.

This workshop invites AI researchers and developers to join a conversation with media practitioners from the fields of journalism, the music industry, game development, media archives and more. Participants will learn about concrete challenges that the industry encounters when adopting AI solutions and the opportunities they see for further AI research with business potential.

The workshop is based on a series of White Papers produced by various industry organisations from the media sector.
