Data Conversations Made Easy: an overview for cultural heritage
How to leverage generative AI in our interaction with data. State-of-the-art for non-developers in 2024Q3. Consists of a video lecture that includes presentation of three tools: BmyRAG, ArkasAI Data Analyst, OLiT-T.
The way we interact with information is undergoing a significant transformation, and Large Language Models (LLMs) are at the forefront of this revolution. In this short lecture we introduce you to the state of the art in how we can use AI in our interaction with data (2024Q3). Using three case studies, we demonstrate how one can work with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data. All case studies are from the cultural heritage sector, but the concepts are generally applicable.
The focus is on no-code methods that can be easily implemented even without prior knowledge of AI or application development. We also briefly describe different tools also available on the platform:
1) BmyRAG, a tool that provides the user with a personalised roadmap to help them get started with the development of a RAG application.
2) ArkasAI Data Analyst, an AI chatbot designed for statistical analysis of archaeological data.
3) OLiT-T, Open LiDAR toolbox tutor, an AI chatbot designed to assist with archaeology-soecific processing of airborne LiDAR data.
