Procter & Gamble (P&G) is a global leader in the fast-moving consumer goods industry. Today P&G products are sold in more than 180 countries and territories with on the ground operations in approximately 70 countries. In P&G, research and development and consumer insights are used to provide superior products and packaging to meet the needs and improve the lives of our consumers. P&G Brussels Innovation Center (BIC) performs key activities for holistic product innovation for Fabric and Home Care products. These activities include technology development, consumer understanding, product, package, process design, industrial and brand design as well as product supply and engineering. It is one of the 3 Mega Innovation Hubs in Europe. Several automation and AI technologies are used to increase the overall innovation rate and speed to market for novel products, such as high throughput automated labs for product formulation and performance testing, product innovation based on AI and big data analysis, a broad use of robotic platforms and collaborative robots in our research labs.
