Communicate AI
Included in the Master's Programme in Artificial Intelligence, a course on Cumminicate AI to the public.

Johannes Kepler University Linz offers a Master's Programme in Artificial Intelligence. This includes a mandatory course on Communicate AI.

More about the course Communicate AI:
The beginning of the end of humankind or a long-awaited force for good? The public discourse on AI frequently oscillates between extremes, can be disconnected from reality and, beyond that, places a variety of technologies under the umbrella term of AI. Research shows that many people do not quite understand what artificial intelligence actually is. As a consequence, they are excluded from policy-making processes or may have to rely on widespread misconceptions. Based on scientific literature on media effects and practical examples from public AI communication, participants of this course discuss and exercise how research and developments in AI can be explained to non-experts and disseminated to other disciplines.
More about the Master' in Artificial Intelligence:
Inspired by how the human brain works, machines can learn, analyze and make decisions. As an inventor, you can improve existing machine learning methods and find new Artificial Intelligence (AI) methods, thereby helping to shape our future.
"Deep Learning" is the driving force of recent developments and breakthroughs in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Deep Learning is based on artificial neural networks and is currently the most successful approach to the way machines learn as well as improving how they function independently, without human intervention.
Neural networks - artificial abstraction models in the human brain - are trained using modern learning algorithms and enormous datasets, resulting in speech recognition systems that can improve independently, cars that drive autonomously based on environmental sensor information, and medical applications that can exceed a physician's performance.
The JKU's Master's degree program in "Artificial Intelligence" gives you the expertise and skills necessary to become a driving force of innovation and development. You can also learn more about the connections between AI and the law as well as the sociological impact.
