Often SMEs, or even big firms, dealing with AI solutions find it difficult to operationalize ALTAI assessment and tailor it to their sector or context.

Leveraging on ICT49 projects experience, surveys toward ALTAI users and best practices from the literature, the ICT49 Trustworthy AI Working Group developed a guiding framework, to help ALTAI users tailor it to their sectors, specific technology applications and access examples and lesson learned from similar use cases.

The ICT49 tailoring methodology for ALTAI incorporates extra description, suggestions for improvement and constructive feedback, tools and references to use, as well as practical examples from ICT49 projects’ experience. The ICT49 Trustworthy AI Working Group brought together 6 different projects since April 2022 with the mission of  strengthen synergies across ICT49 projects and enhance the EU AI on demand platform in the realm of Trustworthy AI.
