Founded in 2017, 3Bee is a leading climate-tech company, with a young and multidisciplinary team of 55 individuals. The company has expanded its focus beyond beekeeping, to a comprehensive strategy aimed at safeguarding all pollinators and protecting biodiversity.

By combining cutting-edge technologies (such as IoT and Remote Sensing sensors, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, and AI)
with biodiversity, 3Bee monitors and regenerates ecosystems in all their complexity, measures conservation efforts and analyses their progress. To achieve this, the company has installed around 5,000 IoT sensors and regenerated over 20,000 hectares of land.

Through the planting of more than 50,000 trees, 3Bee captured approximately 1604 tons of CO2 per year. It has protected over 60 million pollinators, reducing their mortality by 30%, safeguarded more than 111,000 beehives, and monitored over 1.7 billion bees, producing 24,000 kg of nectar per year. As part of its mission, 3Bee collaborates on regeneration and reforestation projects.

From rural settings to urban landscapes, it cooperates with 4,000 farmers and beekeepers, 500 companies, 12 universities, and 14 research centres. It engaged citizens, primary schools, and public organisations to promote the importance of biodiversity conservation and its collective responsibility.
