This system helps developers to debug their AI and other data-driven systems that optimize industrial processes and receive data in the message-oriented fashion. The system helps especially when the messages are organized after production heats and follow a certain sequence.
Industrial processes often operate in heats, and these must be monitored and optimized. Because the optimization tools (such as AI) operate on data, the data must be timely available, following a certain sequence, so that the optimizers can observe the actual status of the heats. This system enables the related monitoring and debugging, helping the developers to solve situations where the optimization model does not perform as expected.
The context of this tool is the European research project ALCHIMIA that applies AI, Federated Learning, and other modelling methods for metallurgical optimization. It aims at more sustainable, green, human-centric production systems.
Technologically, the system monitors for messages based on the subject "ProcessIndustry" in the domain "Smart Manufacturing", submitted for approval for FIWARE Smart Data Models. Currently, it supports Apache Kafka for the messaging medium.
