On 18 December, we had the pleasure of taking part in the 16th edition of the monthly Cascade Funding webinar, organised by Sploro. This event was an excellent opportunity to connect with the innovation community and explore how artificial intelligence and big data are transforming key sectors. Alongside projects such as In Transit and euROBIN, we shared insights on the impact of Edge AI and took the occasion to announce our much-anticipated Second Open Call.

This call for proposals, officially launching on 10 January 2025, aims to support collaborative projects focused on Edge AI that address key industrial challenges expected in 2025. As with our first call, this second edition will offer funding of up to €60,000 per project, with the aim of selecting up to 10 innovative proposals. Projects will run for seven months, providing a streamlined and efficient timeline to implement impactful solutions in the industrial sector.

With over 21 industrial challenges available, this call represents a unique opportunity to tackle real-world problems with cutting-edge technological solutions. We aim to foster projects that not only deliver meaningful impact but also demonstrate how Edge AI can transform industries and improve critical processes.
