AI Fundamentals [in Bulgarian]
The European Digital Innovation Hub Trakia (Cyber4AllSTAR EDIH) offers a monthly online course “HPC & AI – Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence and High-Performance Computing”, designed for professionals seeking essential knowledge and practical skills in applying artificial intelligence across the public sector, business, and industry.
The course is free of charge and delivered in Bulgarian under the Cyber4AllSTAR project, with financial support from the European Union’s Digital Europe Programme and the national programme “Research, Innovation and Digitalisation for Smart Transformation” (PNIIDIT 2021–2027).
Registration is simple and available via the EDIH Trakia website, where participants can select the monthly edition most convenient for them. Lectures are held after working hours and consist of four weekly seminars (4 hours each), complemented by an equivalent amount of self-paced learning.
After successfully completing the course, participants are able to apply the acquired knowledge to plan and organize the use of AI applications in their companies and institutions. The training covers four main topics:

Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence – Introduction to the concept and history of AI, as well as basic approaches to problem-solving and knowledge representation;

Introduction to AI and Machine Learning – Overview of intelligent architectures, neural networks, and various machine learning methods;

Artificial Intelligence for Business Users – Application of AI across different industries, from finance and marketing, through education, to healthcare, transport, and more;

The Relationship between HPC and AI – Interaction of high-performance computing with AI, IoT, blockchain technologies, and cyber-physical systems.
