1st TAILOR Summer School
Video recordings of the 1st TAILOR Summer School, which was delivered in an online form on 23-24 September, 2021.

The first of a series of TAILOR Summer Schools which revolve around the topic of Trustworthy AI, Integrating Reasoning, Learning and Optimization.
The content of the Summer School is a set of 6 presentations of less than 2 hours each:
- Introduction to Trustworthy AI dimensions, description of TAILOR (by Fredrik Heintz and Fosca Giannotti)
- Discrimination and Fairness in AI (by Salvatore Ruggieri)
- What and How of Machine Learning Transparency (by Kacper Sokol and Peter Flach)
- From StarAI to NeuroSymbolic AI (by Luc De Raedt and colleagues)
- Automated Planning and Scheduling: Development of Robust and Dependable Systems (by Andrea Orlandini)
- Agent-Based Modeling for Social Simulation (by Neil Yorke-Smith)
TAILOR is an ICT-48 Network of AI Research Excellence Centers funded by EU Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme GA No 952215.
The TAILOR consortium is committed to demonstrate that research and innovation based on expertise, cooperation, and diversity can achieve the European vision of Human-Centered Trustworthy AI and make Europe the global role-model for responsible AI.
TAILOR focuses on five research areas:
- Trustworthy AI: to develop the foundations for trustworthy AI.
- Paradigms and representations: to combine and integrate learning, reasoning and optimization.
- Acting: learning and reasoning to plan, act and monitor behavior.
- Social AI: learning and reasoning for multi-agent interactions and human AI collaboration.
- Auto AI: to automate the development and deployment of AI systems and democratize the access to state-of-the-art technology.
